Cabinet of Ministers: 12 billion rubles to be allocated for modernization of public services. Funds to be used for updating utility networks, repairing boiler houses, and building new housing estates.
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev says the funds will be used to improve the quality of life in the country. The funds are expected to be available by the end of the year, according to Medvedeva's spokesman, Alexander Nekrassov. He said the money will be spent on building new public housing estates, as well as on repairing existing infrastructure.
