Burma: seven drones shot down in the capital, according to the junta. Four drones targeting Naypyidaw airport, and three others approaching Zayarthiri township were "successfully shot down and destroyed", the army communications team announced.

No casualties or damage have been reported, it is specified. One of the drones that was shot down was carrying a bomb, says a source at the airport, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press. A group from the People's Defense Forces (PDF), which took up arms following the 2021 coup, reportedly announced it had launched drones against military targets.
