In Burkina Faso, the civil society movement Le Balai Citoyen confirms the arrest of one of its active members, Rasmané Zinaba, on February 20, 2024. Zinaba was arrested early at his home in the heart of Ouagadougou by “ unidentified men ”, says a witness.
The arrest of this pillar of Citizen Balai, responsible in particular for mobilization, was confirmed by members. An arbitrary arrest which follows numerous others in the country.
