In Burkina Faso, as in many countries, Christians and Muslims observe Lent and fasting during the month of Ramadan. Catholics, Protestants, Muslims, and traditionalists shared a meal, in a good-natured atmosphere, with the key words: cultivating union and cohesion between the different communities.

Moumini Koudougou, one of the initiators of this ecumenical collective break from Christian fasting (Lent period) and Muslim fasting (Ramadan month), says this gathering aims to advocate dialogue between the country's different religious communities.
