In Burkina Faso, the weekend of February 24-25, 2024 gave rise to a series of terrorist attacks. Attacks during religious services as well as Christian ones.
One of the deadliest was the one which took place on Sunday, during the first morning prayer in Natiaboani. Attacks also took place in Kongoussi, in the North, against the 16th rapid intervention battalion, in Tankoualou, against a military detachment, and finally against another military battalion in Ouahigouya.
