Britain: A large majority supports stopping the war and increasing sympathy for the Palestinians. 66% of Britons believe that Israel should cease fire in Gaza, an increase of 7% compared to last November.
The percentage of those who believe in the possibility of reaching permanent peace between the Palestinians and Israelis within 10 years has increased to 32% from 27% last year. The results showed that a large majority of Britons (65%) support the "two-state solution" as the only way to achieve lasting peace.
