Two Russians were kidnapped in Phuket and forced to transfer more than $800 thousand. They were later released, after which the spouses contacted the police.
Law enforcement officials have identified four suspects in the abduction of Russians, who have already been interrogated. They turned out to be Russian citizens. The couple was kidnapped on Wednesday, January 31 and taken away in an unknown direction. After this, the abductees were forced totransfer cryptocurrency worth about 30 million Thai baht ($846.8 thousand) to the accounts of the attackers.
