Talks between Erdogan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi are expected to focus on aid shipments to the Palestinians in Gaza and the steps that can be taken to end the war waged by Israel on the Strip. Turkey and Egypt announced in a joint statement last July that their diplomatic relations would be restored to the ambassadorial level - for the first time in 10 years.
