Russian-born artist Andrei Molodkin, who lives in France, said that he collected paintings by famous artists in a safe and would destroy them with acid if WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is not released. Among the collected paintings there are works by Pablo Picasso, Rembrandt, Andy Warhol, and Robert Reischenberg.

In total the safe contains 16 works of art, the total value of which exceeds $45 million. Last year, a French court rejected Assange's request for political asylum.
