The Colombian Government reported the arrest in Colombia of Venezuelan citizen Sergio Tarache Parra, 21. He was denounced for burning alive his former partner in a square in downtown Lima.

The young woman burning in flames was helped by passers-by, but that attack caused burns in 60% of her body and died after a week hospitalized. The man ran from the scene and later the National Police offered 50,000 soles (about $ 13,300) for his location. The Colombian Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that both countries are working "to find the most agile procedure that allows the prompt surrender"
