Farah Dakhlallah becomes the first NATO spokesperson of Arab origin. She succeeds Oana Lungescu, who served as spokesperson from 2010 to 2023.

Dakhla Allah previously worked as Director of Communications at the World Health Organization between 2017 and 2021. She also served as Arab Spokesperson for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in the United Kingdom between 2014 and 2016. She studied audiovisual arts at Saint Joseph University in Beirut, before obtaining a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Cambridge.
