The Peasant Confederation led an action this Saturday afternoon in a hypermarket in Villeneuve d'Ascq, near Lille. On site, the shelves were emptied and shopping carts were filled with honey, salads, canned goods and lentils.
The activists emptied the shelves during rush hour. “Without promised income, compromised transition”, we can see on some posters. This punch operation lasted about an hour in this hypermarket. Subsequently, the farmers left peacefully and are now considering further action.
