An association of prosecutors appeals to the Supreme Court the appointment of García Ortiz as Attorney General of the State. This group challenges such designation after the attorney general incurred in " misuse of power " when he promoted former minister Dolores Delgado to the highest category of the Fiscal Career.
In a note sent to the media, the APIF also highlights that the General Council of the Judiciary, "in an extensive and well-founded opinion, considers that the candidate proposed by the Government, Álvaro Garcia Ortiz, does not meet the necessary qualities"
