Russian Ambassador to Ottawa Oleg Stepanov said the risk of incidents at Russian foreign institutions in Canada remains high. The reason for this, he said, is the fact that the Canadian authorities do not want to ensure a 24-hour police presence near Russian diplomatic institutions.
“The Bandera part of the Ukrainian diaspora, which is led by the main Russophobic structure here – the Canadian Ukrainian Congress, and Canadians who are not indifferent to the Kyiv regime often behave aggressively,” the diplomat said.
