Ambassador Krutoy: Belarus is assessing the possibility of creating a nuclear fleet in Russia. Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the nuclear-powered icebreaker Stalingrad would be laid down in Russia in 2025.

He also noted that Russia intends to continue expanding its Arctic fleet. The topic “will take off in the near future, as transport workers say,” the diplomat said in an interview with ONT TV channel. The nuclear fleet will provide adequate navigation in difficult weather conditions, he said.
