Russia intends to strengthen the strategic partnership with Turkmenistan. This was stated by the Russian Ambassador in Ashgabat Ivan Volynkin.
“The main inspirers and architects of such fruitful interaction at this stage are Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Turkmen President Serdar Gurbangulyevich Berdimuhamedov,” the ambassador noted in an article published by the Turkmen agency Orient. Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that joint work contributes to ensuring security.
