Gabriel Attal announced a series of measures to "unlock" access to housing. The new Prime Minister also proposed strengthening the power of mayors in the first allocation of new social housing.
Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément, vice-president of the Ile-de-France region in charge of housing, welcomes this proposal from Gabriel Attal. For the moment, the new PM has still not named his Minister of Housing. The other measure issued by the Prime Minister is that for intermediate housing, accessible to the middle classes, will now be included in the calculation for municipalities subject to the law.
