"This is a good thing"

Jean-Philippe Dugoin-Clément, vice-president of the Ile-de-France region in charge of housing, welcomes this proposal from Gabriel Attal: "This will encourage mayors to look a little differently at the construction of housing "I think we must go even further, that social housing must be given priority to municipalities. It's a good thing."

The other measure issued by the Prime Minister is that for intermediate housing, accessible to the middle classes. It will now be included in the calculation for municipalities subject to the SRU law which imposes a minimum of 25% social housing by 2025.
