Al Jazeera condemns the targeting of its crew in Rafah and calls for the occupation army to be held accountable. Al Jazeera correspondent Ismail Abu Omar and fellow photographer Ahmed Matar were seriously injured earlier today as a result of an Israeli targeting by a drone in the Mirage area, north of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
The network confirmed - in a statement - that this targeting “is a full-fledged crime, in addition to Israel’s crimes against journalists.”
