The vast majority of blockades were lifted on Friday throughout France following the Prime Minister's announcements. But die-hard farmers in the Lyon region continue to block the A43, at the Saint-Quentin-Fallavier tollbooth.
Europe 1 went to meet these operators who do not want to leave. The farmers behind the dam are all members of the Confédération Paysanne, an organization that is more on the left. They believe that the measures announced by Gabriel Attal will help the largest farms and not the small farmers.
