All members of the central committee of the opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) submitted their resignations on Thursday. Party leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu accepted all resignations following Thursday's meeting of the committee at the party's headquarters in the capital, Ankara.
The party seeks to renew its leadership and develop a road map for the next stage after losing its president in the presidential elections. The handover ceremony took place at the Turkish parliament on Thursday after the final results of the presidential election were announced and sent for publication.
