AECC's "Taihang 6" heavy-duty gas turbine (codenamed AGT-4) passed product verification and appraisal on June 4. The 110-megawatt-class heavy- duty gas turbine with independent intellectual property rights has passed the whole machine verification, filling the gap of China's power level products.
Gas turbines can reduce carbon emissions by more than 100 million tons a year, generate more than 15,1 kilowatt-hours of electricity in one hour of combined cycle.
