In Ukraine, where the military invasion by Russia continues, there are not enough wheelchairs used by the elderly and wounded soldiers. Four NPOs in Japan and major shipping companies have been working to deliver used wheelchairs to Ukraine since December last year.
On the 300th, at the office of the NPO "Wheelchairs of Hope" in Tokyo, about 200 wheelchairs were carried out, and staff were loading them onto trucks. The wheelchairs will be transported by ship and will be delivered to the site in July.
