The Green Party supporters were the most generous with an average of 197 euros, closely followed by the FDP supporters with one euro less. Overall willingness to donate is decreasing, according to the German Donation Monitor 2023. The amount of donations fell by half a billion to 5.8 billion euros, and the number of donors fell by five percentage points to 48.6 percent.
