A worker died after a bear attack in a cafe near Smolensk. It is reported that a man who was clearing snow on the roof was mauled by a bear that had been kept in an enclosure at the establishment for more than twenty years.
The incident is being investigated. Earlier it was reported about a fire in a private house in Birobidzhan, which killed four people, including a child. The fire was reported to have started in the early hours of January 31.
