Major General Hassan bin Jalal Al-Obaidi was found murdered in his apartment in Cairo. Al-Obeidi was the Director of the Military Industrialization Department at the Ministry of Defense.
The Yemeni embassy in Egypt reported the killing on social media platforms. The embassy said it is following up on the incident and has assigned specialists to communicate with all security authorities in Egypt, and to follow up on investigations to reach the truth of what it described as a “painful” incident.
