A poll predicts the rise of Gantz, the decline of Likud, and the fall of Smotrich. An opinion poll published by the Israeli newspaper “Maariv’ on Friday showed that the State Camp party would win 39 seats in the Knesset if elections were held today.

48% of respondents expressed that Gantz is most suitable to lead the government, while 32% believe that current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is most suited. Since the beginning of the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, opinion polls have shown a decline in Netanyahu's popularity and Gantz's lead.
