Two explosions occurred near a ship sailing 50 nautical miles southeast of the city of Aden on the coast of Yemen on Friday. The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority called on ships sailing in the region to "exercise caution and report any suspicious activities" In support of the Palestinian resistance in its response to the war on Gaza, the Ansar Allah Houthi group in Yemen targets ships owned or operated by Israeli companies.
They have expanded their attacks to include American and British ships after the start of the raids on Yemen last January.
