A man in the Khabarovsk Territory kidnapped a woman who had rejected him, threatening to kill her. The attacker was stopped by local residents, and now he will have to serve a seven-year sentence in a special regime correctional colony.

As it became known earlier, the United States extradited Alexei Smirnov to Russia, accused of kidnapping his young daughter in 2019 and abusing her for six months. The woman followed him, but on the way to the house she turned for help to unfamiliar residents, who stopped the man.
