A man accused of abuse cuts the throat of his partner's pet, cooks it and tries to get him to eat it. The alleged abuser from the Valencian town of Montserrat faces sentences of up to 12 years in prison for several crimes against women, including abuse.
The rabbit episode occurred in December 2021. Shortly after, the victim reported the abuse to the Civil Guard after another episode of abuse in which the man punched him in the eye. The man's objective was for the woman to "learn" a "lesson" for having spit on him.
