A team from the Kuwait Medical Relief Society arrived the day before Monday in the Gaza Strip, via the Rafah land crossing on the border with Egypt. The team includes 14 individuals, including 10 doctors in various surgical specialties, in addition to medical devices, tools and supplies.
Urologist Omar Al-Hunaidi, a member of the Kuwaiti relief delegation, said that today, Wednesday alone, he performed 13 surgical operations in Kuwait Hospital for a number of injured people. Al-Huneidi sent a message to the doctors of the world that the people of Gaza need all cooperation and assistance.
