A drone attack targets a group breakfast for a battalion loyal to the Sudanese army. The Rapid Support Forces say that they have taken control of East Darfur state, whose capital is the city of El Daein, since last November.
The support forces published pictures on the page, which they said were of the process of joining those forces. An Al Jazeera camera tour revealed widespread destruction at gas stations in Omdurman, west of the Sudan capital, Khartoum. The tour also revealed damage to a number of major power stations in several neighborhoods of the city, which led to a complete shutdown of electricity.
