A court in Moscow arrested foreign agent Gozman in absentia in the case of fake news about the Russian Armed Forces. Earlier, RT sources reported that Gozman received a residence permit in Italy.
The politician confirmed his passive income by providing the Italian authorities with evidence of a stable flow of funds into his accounts from owning assets outside the country. Rome defines the status of such foreigners as financially independent persons. Recognized as a foreign agent by decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation dated May 6, 2022.
