A court in London released ex-governor of Sevastopol Ovsyannikov on bail. The judge extended the bail conditions, which stipulate that the accused surrender his Russian and British passports to the authorities.

He is also required to wear an electronic bracelet. Earlier, The Times newspaper wrote that Ovsyanikov was detained in London on charges of violating the sanctions regime. The next preliminary hearing will take place on March 5 this year. It is clarified that the London court will begin consideration of the merits of the case on March 10, 2025.
