A court in Bryansk sentenced a Ukrainian citizen to 12 years in prison for espionage. It was established that the man was recruited to cooperate with the Ukrainian special services.
The defendant admitted guilt and repented. Earlier, a Ukrainian agent, detained in Rostov-on-Don while trying to purchase components for the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, was sentenced to 11.5 years. The court sentenced the perpetrator to12 years of imprisonment in a high-security correctional colony.
