5,500 wounded in the occupation army since the start of the Gaza war, and expectations of 20,000 more. The Israeli army admitted that 569 members were killed and 2,864 wounded since the beginning of the war.
An estimate by the Israeli Ministry of Defense also expected that the number of soldiers with disabilities in the war in the Gaza Strip would reach 12,500 soldiers. Israel is concealing its real losses in the ongoing battles in theGaza Strip, amid leaks from Israeli hospitals indicating they are receiving much larger numbers of injured than announced.
