39% of French people believe that Europe is mainly responsible for the farmers' crisis, according to our survey. For 29% of those questioned, the government is the main responsible, and only 6% blame the farmers.
For right-wing supporters (all parties combined), 51% of respondents place Europe as responsible. Supporters of the left (36%) and the center (47) mainly point to the big brands. 45% of 50 to 64 year olds designate the European Union as primarily responsible. While 41% of 18 to 24 year olds place the big Brands as the main culprit.
