16 Barajas airport workers arrested for stealing objects worth 120,000 euros from luggage. Another 22 workers have been investigated by agents of the Fiscal and Border Unit that operates at the airport.
The agents have managed to recover items of various kinds, from a large number of high-end bags and clothing, to electronic devices, cameras, a violin, a Bible or cash. The victims of the robberies, whose belongings were returned, were also very varied: the camera belonged to a US Army non-commissioned officer.
