10th Pacific Island Summit to be held in Tokyo from July 16th. Summit is an international conference held once every three years, inviting the leaders of countries and regions in the South Pacific to Japan.
The last meeting three years ago was held in a video conference format due to the novel coronavirus, so this is the first time in six years that it has been held face-to-face. It is an important opportunity to maintain and strengthen a free and open international order based on the rule of law and to expand the circle of cooperation.
