The Palestinian Rukn family in the occupied city of Jerusalem has been subjected to increasing targeting by the Israeli occupation for months. On Friday, the family was on the verge of one of a series of raids on their home and the arrest of 3 of its members: Father Abdel Nasser and two of his sons.
Muhammad Abu Rukn points out that the occupation did not give his family an opportunity to rejoice over the release of their son, Abdul Rahman Montaf, during the week. He added that despite the persecution the family is being subjected to, it has no choice but to stand firm and remain steadfast in Jerusalem.
