Three days after the shooting in the Blosne district of Rennes, the tension and fear are still palpable. The gunfire, which continued for more than an hour between rival gangs, against a backdrop of drug trafficking, traumatized the residents.

Around twenty bullet holes were counted on the entrances to buildings, sometimes even in apartments. Investigators also found 32 shell casings of different calibers, most of them weapons of war. “I was very scared. It felt like war, it’s incredible,” one resident says.
