[HIGHLIGHTS] "The enemy is scattered and retreated": the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported a strike on the Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group in the area of Novaya Tavolzhanka

The Russian military launched an artillery strike on a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group that attempted to cross the river near the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Belgorod Region. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the units covering the state border of the Western Military District and the border service of the FSB of Russia identified saboteurs.

After striking, the enemy was scattered and retreated, the department said. The Russian military destroyed more than 70 Ukrainian terrorists, four armored combat vehicles and five pickup trucks.
