This Saturday, Dunkirkers gathered to demonstrate against a project of offshore wind turbines on the dike of Malo-les-Bains. The latter provides for the construction of 46 wind turbines, about ten kilometers from the coast, by 2028.

These wind turbines should cover the equivalent of the annual consumption of nearly one million inhabitants, which represents more than a third of the population of the Nord department. "There, we are talking about wind turbines 300 meters high: real Eiffel Towers," says Luc, a former windsurfing instructor.
