[HIGHLIGHTS] "Inadequate proposal": the head of the European Commission rejected the possibility of equal negotiations between Russia and Ukraine

Ursula von der Leyen opposed an equal dialogue between Moscow and Kiev. She said the countries of the "seven" should support the efforts of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his "peace formula" Russia has repeatedly said that the initiatives proposed by the Kiev regime have nothing to do with a peaceful settlement of the situation.

The meeting of the leaders of the Group of Seven countries (USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Canada and Japan) is taking place in Hiroshima from May 19 to 21.
