Kiyoken, headquartered in Yokohama, announced that a product filled only with shumai sold on the 7th contained silicone particles. The company confirmed that a milky white piece of silicone about 1 to 2 cm in length had been mixed in.
The five products are sold at directly managed stores and station kiosks in Kanagawa, Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, and Shizuoka. According to the company, there has been no information on health hazards so far.
