Yamato Kanagawa Police officer in his 40s dismissed due to home invasion of person involved in incident. The person who was referred to the prosecutor's office is a 49-year-old lieutenant.
According to the police, during working hours in September last year, he broke a window and broke into the home of a person in a case he was in charge of. The police lieutenant reportedly said, ``He wanted money that he could spend freely'' and he resigned at his request.
