Four out of 10 Spaniards buy a garment every three months, and up to 29.5% do so once a month. 75% of those surveyed say they use each garment at least 20 times before throwing it away.
60% say that they have a piece that is more than 10 years old. The gap is so big, from 54.5%. of the youngest to 82.2% of the oldest. It could be due to the desire to fit into certain circles since shopping is seen as a way to relieve stress.
