Temperatures of up to 18 degrees expected on the Rhine and Neckar on Thursday. In the south it is expected to stay sunny and dry for longer between loose cloud fields.
This year's February was generally unusually warm, the DWD said. There are no signs of a significant cold front, at least for the next few days, the weather service said. It will be windy and stormy at high altitudes and at sea on Saturday and Sunday, the Weather Service said.
