[HIGHLIGHTS] Walking along the central axis of Beijing in search of dragons: Encountering the “dragon wearing a grass skirt” at the Xiannongtan Temple

There are countless dragon images as decorations in ancient Chinese buildings. The Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum collects, studies and displays the history, skills and agricultural culture of ancient Chinese architecture.

On the roof of an Chinese building, the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the Forbidden City has the largest number of animal objects, total of ten. There are seven dragons in Taisui Hall Xiannongtan. Among them, there is another one who is a close relative of the mythical beast "Suanni" and one of the "Nine Sons of Dragon"
