When spring is in full bloom, Xinjiang ushered in Rouzi (also known as Eid al-Fitr), one of the important festivals for the local Muslim people. The number of people coming to the Grand Bazaar has increased significantly, not only the local people of all ethnic groups in Xinjiang, but also many tourists from other provinces, autonomous regions and cities.
The 2023 Rouzi Festival falls on April 4, and the People's Government of Xinjiang has arranged an holiday for one day on April 22.
